Apopka’s SeeClickFix page is a starting point for routine service reports, but it is not the route for every concern. The City now directs code-enforcement complaints to Comcate and overwatering reports to a separate form. Follow those links from the City’s page rather than filing every problem in SeeClickFix. Current reporting routes

Choose a route before writing the report

Use this LSL routing check:

  • Emergency: call 911; do not wait for an online ticket.
  • After-hours or immediate non-emergency concern: the City lists 407-703-1757.
  • Code complaint or overwatering: use the specifically labeled route on the City page.
  • Routine service issue: use the appropriate SeeClickFix category and location.
  • Long-term drainage or multi-agency planning question: contact the responsible department rather than expecting a routine ticket to settle the project.

SeeClickFix reports are monitored Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., excluding holidays—not around the clock. Reporting guidance

For a broader drainage question, Apopka’s Stormwater page places planning, review and maintenance within the municipal program and lists Public Services at 407-703-1731, weekdays 8 a.m.–5 p.m. It also lists the same emergency line above. Stormwater program and contacts

Describe an observable problem without assigning blame

Give the location precisely enough for someone who has not visited it: the relevant address or map point, nearest intersection and which side of the street. State what you observed and when. A photograph can help, but it does not establish who owns a drain or what caused flooding.

For example, this is an LSL illustration, not a real report:

Leaves cover the inlet beside the north curb near the intersection. Water remained across that lane when I passed this afternoon. The attached photo shows the inlet and street sign.

That description gives staff something to locate and assess. “The neighbor caused the flood” supplies a conclusion the report has not established. Avoid entering private property or standing in traffic to obtain a better picture.

Check what will become visible

The City says report descriptions are public. The anonymous option hides the display name, not the report text; email addresses are not displayed by the platform. It separately warns that records may be disclosed. Anonymous display is not a promise of confidential records. Privacy notice

Review the text and photographs for account numbers, interior details and unrelated people before submitting. Save the issue identifier so a follow-up can reference the original report rather than creating competing descriptions of the same location.

LSL reviewed the City’s reporting and Stormwater pages on September 20, 2026. We did not submit a report, test response times or establish responsibility for any private drainage problem.
