Assign the costs that remain after planting
UF/IFAS Extension’s program guidance accepts eligible community organizations with authority over the planting location and a maintenance commitment. A named backup for watering is a practical planning precaution, not an additional County eligibility rule. Likewise, a proposed species is not approved just because it fits a budget.
Follow the award’s sequence
The County calendar places review in February and March and notification in April, followed by the implementation period. Completion is due by November 30; the final report follows within 30 days, with a separate establishment report after one year.
