The handoff has two controlling dates
The October 6, 2025 notice records the operational handoff to Waste Pro and the division among trash, yard waste, recycling, and scheduled bulk service. The August 26, 2026 bulletin is the later preparation record: it describes the allowed container, bags for clippings and leaves, tied bundles, published weight and length limits, and the provider contact for questions. That sequence matters because the earlier notice includes a two-cubic-yard curbside statement, while the later bulletin organizes preparation around containers, bags, bundles, weights, and lengths. The later instructions should be recorded beside the older transition language instead of silently blending the two.
Sort the pile before choosing the service lane

Do not hide a mixed pile behind the label “yard waste.” If branches, bagged leaves, construction debris, or contractor-produced material are together, list them separately before contacting the provider. That gives the provider a precise question and preserves why one part of the setout may follow a different lane.
What neither City notice proves
The reviewed records apply to Treasure Island accounts under the provider arrangement that began in October 2025. They do not establish that a particular address is eligible, that a mixed or oversized pile will be accepted, or that a scheduled request was completed.
Record the live provider instruction when action is due. Collection days, quantities, contacts, and acceptance rules can change after the source dates used here, and material generated by a hired landscaper remains a separate responsibility question.

Local Service Ledger compared the City’s October 2025 provider-transition notice with its August 26, 2026 preparation update on August 29, 2026. We separated material, producer, preparation, scheduling, provider response, and observed result so the two dated records remain visible. We did not place a pickup request or test whether a particular pile would be accepted.
