The latest update captured in Monroe’s rolling North 18th Street and Forsythe Avenue project record is dated June 1, 2026 and says construction continues. The original notice anticipated a late-spring 2026 finish, but an anticipated schedule is not a final completion statement.
Eight dated entries
The City’s rolling project notice contains the original October 31, 2025 notice and seven continuation updates:

From the scheduled November 10 start to June 1 is 203 elapsed calendar days. That figure is not days worked. Weather, sequencing, closures, weekends, suspensions, and other conditions are not resolved by subtracting dates.
Do not turn a forecast into a finish
The original late-spring target records an expectation at that time. A later “construction continues” entry supersedes any assumption that the road was finished merely because the forecast window arrived. Final completion requires a later authority record.
The April pipe-repair note is also narrow: it identifies a particular activity and expected closure duration. It does not establish that the overall corridor project ended when that activity ended.
Six fields remain open in this record
The captured page does not establish:
- actual substantial or final completion date;
- final acceptance;
- final contract amount and changes;
- total days worked;
- measured transportation or drainage outcomes; or
- the final disposition of every lane restriction.

Local Service Ledger reviewed the City rolling notice and two state travel/authority routes on August 1, 2026. We enumerated eight entries, counted seven continuation updates, and calculated 203 elapsed calendar days with a visible limitation. We did not visit the corridor, assess progress, calculate working days, or predict completion.
