Decide which question you need answered

For an infestation question, the Task Force’s contact page distinguishes the City of Cleveland from other Cuyahoga communities. It lists 216-664-2300 for Cleveland and 216-201-2000 for other county communities. That page also retains an old meeting notice, so verify the current contact assignment when calling. For financial or treatment assistance, use the County Health and Human Services program information. It describes help for income-eligible older adults and adults with disabilities living in single- or double-unit housing—not an unrestricted extermination service for every county property. Prepare an eligibility question, not a self-approval

The County page identifies age or disability, household income, county residence and living in the home to be treated as screening considerations. Before relying on assistance, ask the program:

  • Whether it is currently accepting requests.
  • Which housing arrangements are covered.
  • Which current income limits and documents apply.
  • How inspection, preparation and treatment are arranged.
  • What remains the resident’s responsibility.

Do not send personal income or disability records to a general inquiry address unless the program directs you to that submission channel. The public page’s income chart has no visible effective year, so this guide does not reproduce it as a verified 2026 threshold.

Confirm the actual service offered

The program describes up to three free visits by a licensed extermination company. “Up to” is a program limit, not a promise of three visits, an appointment date or successful eradication for a particular home. Service description
