Assemble a measurement record
Mark property boundaries, buildings, streets, water, and every subject tree. Number the trees so photographs and form entries match the map. The form asks for trunk circumference measured 4.5 feet above grade; retain a photograph showing the tape position and the recorded circumference. Do not substitute diameter without showing the conversion the City accepts.
The City form lists a flat $25 fee regardless of tree count. Save the invoice and receipt rather than multiplying the amount by the mapped trees.
Close the replacement loop
Retain the removal reason, supporting condition evidence, application, inspection messages, and decision. If replacement is required, add species, size, planting location, deadline, installation photographs, and City acceptance.
