Eustis’ tree application asks for an inventory with species and diameter at breast height measured 54 inches above grade. It also uses lot bands that call for between two and six trees to remain or be provided, depending on the property. Do not choose the count without the City’s lot classification.
Create two matching inventories
The “before” plan should number existing trees, show location, species, DBH, condition photographs, and the reason proposed for removal. Photograph the tape at 54 inches for each measured trunk. The application page provides the City route and the form supplies the detailed record fields.
The “after” plan should mark remaining and replacement trees separately. Add the City-determined lot band, required count, approved species and size, planting location, and deadline. Preserve purchase or installation records, dated photographs, inspection, and acceptance.
If the City’s count differs from the applicant’s inventory, keep both versions and the correction explanation. Do not delete a removed tree from the original plan.
