Before selecting an application, collect or ask a qualified professional to establish:

Do not estimate a buried component’s size by appearance or assume an old permit describes a later alteration.
Construction and operation are not interchangeable
A form for building a well and a form for operating a limited-use water system address different approvals. A downloaded form does not determine that either approval applies to a particular property.

The page’s reference to one delegated program should not be stretched into a claim that every Lake County well, regardless of district, diameter or use, follows that route.
