Apopka’s February 2026 residential schedule can be reproduced as base charge plus marginal usage blocks. Sewer uses one per-thousand rate but stops increasing after 12,000 gallons.
Inputs from the City schedule
The rate page lists a $12.36 water base. Water costs $2.28 per 1,000 gallons through 6,000; $2.81 for the next block through 15,000; $4.18 through 30,000; and $8.47 above 30,000.
Sewer starts with a $26.29 base and adds $4.37 per 1,000 gallons through 12,000. The City publishes $78.73 as the residential sewer cap.

These are rounded to cents after calculating each service. A City bill may use its own rounding sequence.
What the table leaves out
The same rate page lists residential garbage at $26.60 and other possible items such as deposits, initiation, late, reconnect, or site-visit charges. Reclaimed water is another service with its own base and tiers. None is silently added here.
Before comparing, confirm that the account is City-served, the meter period uses these rates, and the billed gallons match the read history. The billing office remains the source for account corrections and service classification.
This report checks two metered service rows. It does not predict the total due on a particular household statement.
