Make one household planting shortlist

Before submitting, agree on a household list rather than sending separate orders from different family members. For each choice, record:

  • The seed name exactly as offered.
  • The place you intend to grow it.
  • Whether you can provide the space and conditions its instructions require.
  • A second choice if the preferred packet is unavailable.
  • The selected pickup branch.

This turns the five-packet allowance into a usable plan without treating every item in an older PDF as an available selection. A packet’s presence in the catalog also does not establish that it should be planted immediately.

Keep the order and pickup stages separate

The library describes an online request or staff-assisted order, transfer to the chosen branch, and email communication when seeds have been prepared and are being transferred. At pickup, keep the packet’s plant name and growing instructions with your shortlist. Record any substitution before planting, so a later question about the garden can be tied to what actually went into the ground.
