At the rates JXN Water displayed on August 1, 2026, six CCF of combined water and sewer use produces a $44.88 usage charge. Add the listed $40 monthly availability charge for a 5/8-inch meter, and the illustrated subtotal is $84.88. With a one-inch meter’s $60 availability charge, it is $104.88.
These are reproducible examples, not complete or average bills.

Calculation
| Step | Formula | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Gallons represented | 6 × 748 | 4,488 gallons |
| Usage charge | 6 × $7.48 | $44.88 |
| 5/8-inch illustrated subtotal | $44.88 + $40 | $84.88 |
| One-inch illustrated subtotal | $44.88 + $60 | $104.88 |
The page also mentions an approximately $88 average combined bill after the 2026 adjustment. That systemwide statement is not the input to our six-CCF calculation and should not be used to predict an individual account.
What the examples exclude
The totals do not include past balances, taxes, credits, adjustments, service fees, deposits, returned-payment charges, restoration charges, a different account classification, or a different meter size. They also assume the entire six CCF appears in the first combined-service tier.
Use JXN Water’s bill guide to identify the actual reading period and line items, then reproduce the calculation with the account’s own CCF, meter size, and classification.
Methodology and limitations
Local Service Ledger recorded the public schedule on August 1, 2026, converted the stated CCF unit, multiplied the first-tier rate by six, and added each of two published availability charges separately. We checked every calculation twice. We did not access an account, verify a meter, or ask JXN Water to confirm an individual bill.
