Ocoee’s form library gives several common home projects their own application. Begin with the narrowest accurate scope, but stop and ask the City when one job includes more than one building system.

These names come from the City forms library. They are starting points, not conclusions that one form covers the entire contract.
Preserve the portal trail
The permitting page describes online functions for applying, paying, checking status, and arranging inspections. Keep each event as a different record:
- the downloaded form and its revision date;
- the completed, signed version;
- every plan or attachment with file name;
- upload confirmation and application number;
- City comments and corrected files;
- itemized invoice and payment receipt;
- issued permit and approved documents; and
- inspection request, result, correction, and closeout.
An application number is not an issued permit. A payment receipt is not an approved plan. A passed interim inspection is not final closeout.
When the router should stop
Ask for classification when work combines a reroof with structural repair, a shed with electrical service, a fence with a pool barrier, or windows with enlarged openings. Also verify that the property is inside Ocoee rather than merely using an Ocoee mailing address.
The useful outcome is not guessing the perfect form. It is giving City staff a precise scope and preserving the written answer that determines the file path.
