- Six approved desk comparisons grounded in 35 official city, county, parish, mapping, portal, and application records. The table links each full desk guide and the principal government sources.
- Timeframe
- Government records were accessed July 30 through August 9, 2026. The desk routes were normalized on August 29, 2026.
- Calculations and normalization
- No permit need, fee, processing time, approval, or jurisdiction was inferred. Equivalent routing fields were aligned while desk-specific handoffs remained separate.
Limitations
- The matrix does not classify a private parcel or determine which permits and reviews a project needs.
- A route can change through annexation, government process changes, road ownership, or project-specific referral.
- Named municipalities outside the compared paths retain their own authority and are not covered by a nearby City or county row.
- An issued permit does not establish contractor quality, complete scope, or a passed final inspection.
