MDOT’s proposed letting schedule, marked updated September 13, 2026, still places two Warren County I-20 projects in October 2026: corridor paving and repairs at two bridges. They share a proposed month and an explicit project link, but they do not have the same scope or identifier. October is a proposed procurement month—not a promised construction start. These are the schedule’s two rows, not two descriptions of the same work. In a subsequent advertisement, compare both project numbers before assuming that a notice covers the whole package. MDOT rows
The bridge plan’s title sheet independently labels 109684/301000 and bridges 4.5A and 4.5B. It gives a project length of 1,527.92 feet / 0.289 mile. That dimension belongs to the bridge-repair plan limits; it is not the length of the paving corridor. Bridge title sheet
Which record contains the $25.3 million figure?
MDOT’s FFY 2026–2028 plan, on printed page 12, assigns $25.3 million to the Warren County 109482 mill-and-overlay row in federal fiscal year 2026. The column is explicitly a cost estimate. Do not attach that amount to 109684 or present it as the combined contract price. Three-year plan
The live schedule is continuously revised. The older plan’s fiscal-year entry and today’s proposed October month are different planning fields; neither is an awarded contract or a traffic notice.
Why an older design record has another suffix
The April 22, 2025 Commission agenda, item 3, authorized Phase A design and Phase B final construction plans for the same paving corridor. It identifies 109482-101100, with federal number IM-0020-01(278). The later proposed construction row uses 109482/301000 and IM-0020-01(286). Design authorization
LSL matches these records by the common 109482 project number and the stated corridor limits while retaining their different phase and federal identifiers. Searching only the newer full identifier could miss the design history; replacing the older identifier would misstate the source.
This pair is also distinct from the I-20 at Halls Ferry design assignment, which uses project 100367-109100.
Update basis
